Quick Start

Welcome to LightRSS! This guide will help you get started quickly with our RSS reader.

Step 1: Create an Account

If you don't have an account yet, please:

1. Visit the Sign Up page
2. Enter your email and password
3. Complete email verification when prompted

Step 2: Add Your First Feed

1. After logging in, go to the Feed Management page (/app/feeds)
2. In the "Add Feed" tab, enter an RSS Feed URL
   • For example: https://example.com/feed.xml
3. (Optional) Select a category to organize your feed
4. Click the "Add Feed" button

The system validates the URL and attempts the first article fetch before the request finishes. If the publisher is temporarily unavailable, the subscription can still be saved for a later refresh.

Step 3: Browse Articles

1. Go to the Article List page (/app/feeds/articles)
2. Click any article to start reading
3. Use the search and filter features to find content you're interested in
